The aim of this Conference – supported by the project MARIO was to present to all the relevant actors of this field, the situation analysis: “The Legislative Aspect on the Protection of Child Rights in Kosovo” as a basic document regarding the legislation in force in Kosovo in child protection. This document is now available and it is already at the disposal to all the agencies which work in the field of child protection.

Some of the findings and recommendations of this document were also presented, which should at the same time serve as a baseline for the further actions that the NGO Coalition on Child Protection and all the other actors should take.

This document was applauded from all the participants as a very important and necessary tool that will help them in their daily work. Both governmental and nongovernmental representatives discussed the recommendations, how to integrate them into their daily activities, and why. (KV)
